With around 50 years of experience in the electrification field, A. & H. Meyer GmbH, headquartered in Dörentrup (Ostwestfalen-Lippe), is a trendsetter for customised electrification and cable management systems in various areas of application. Founded in 1961, the company now employs over 190 people worldwide. The plant in Dörentrup includes a dedicated punching workshop, injection moulding plant, and design engineering, production and toolmaking departments. While the European region is mainly served from Germany and from a distribution office in Westerlo, Belgium, the subsidiary founded in Malaysia in 2000 with its headquarters in Shah Alam supplies to the Asian market. A. & H. Meyer GmbH was taken over by the French Legrand Group in autumn 2022. As a globally operating specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructure, Legrand generated just under 7 billion euros in turnover in 2021 with around 39,000 employees worldwide.
