Climate neutral 2030
A. & H. Meyer GmbH has also joined the climate initiative "gemeinsam klimaneutral 2030" (jointly climate neutral 2030) launched by the Lippe and East Westphalia Chambers of Industry and Commerce in spring 2022.
Under its umbrella, companies from the region set an example of climate commitment with their voluntary commitment to operate in a climate-neutral manner by the end of 2030 at the latest.
A. & H. Meyer, for example, has committed itself to climate-neutral operations at its headquarters in Dörentrup, Lippe, by the end of 2030, at least in terms of Scope 1 (direct greenhouse gas emissions generated within the company) and Scope 2 (indirect greenhouse gas emissions from the generation of purchased energy) in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
